WESTAR-ECO – CYANAGEN makes MEDICA green

CYANAGEN has launched WESTAR-ECO, its new ECL in tablet format, at MEDICA.

This innovative solution allows a green approach to Western blotting and ELISA assays.

• CO2 emission reduction – The kit is now more compact and almost 90% lighter, allowing an evident decrease in CO2 emissions in the transports.

• Avoid contaminations – The tablet format minimizes the risks of contamination of the solutions.

• Single test size – Dissolving one solution A and solution B tablet together in 5 millilitres of pure water provides a single test working solution with a three-day shelf life.

• Sharing of water use – Optimization in water use, a fundamental aspect of the green approach, is another target of this format. Dedicated utilizations of pure water in each lab replace a single large production of ultra-pure water at the manufacturer’s location. Limit the amount of this essential substance to the strictly required by the assay when the test is carried out
