Star Fluor – 3D Vascular
Star Fluor – 3D Vascular
Infra-Red fluorescent markers for vascular imaging
Overview
Developed under EU’s H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant (GA number 813839), STAR FLUOR – 3D VASCULAR markers provide a robust and reliable imaging technique for studying disease progression related to vascular disorders.
These novel fluorescent markers can image small as well as large vessels, including the post-glomerular capillaries.
The non-toxicity of these markers provides >97% cell viability, thus allowing their use in in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo applications.
Technology patented.

Features
1. Versatile: STAR FLUOR – 3D VASCULAR comes with various fluorescent tags (STAR FLUOR 680 – STAR FLUOR 770), which are compatible with the most common lasers available in imaging instruments.
2. Highly stable: The marker’s high photostability and chemical stability allows imaging for a long period without the degradation of the dye.
3. High resolution imaging: The STAR FLUOR – 3D VASCULAR optical properties in the NIR region provide a better signal-to-noise ratio without any signal overlap with the autofluorescence, thereby deepening the tissue penetration.
4. High brightness: low dosage required
5. Easy to use: available in lyophilized form, ready to be dissolved in water and buffers.
6. Non-toxicity: possible use in ex vivo and in vivo applications.
