ECL substrates with extended signal duration

WESTAR ECL product line includes two substrates, ANTARES, a mid-level, and ETA C ULTRA 2.0, a mid-high level, whose signal duration lasts more than twenty (20) hours, depending on the assay.

This feature is possible due to a patented technology.

WESTAR ANTARES, designed for mid-femtogram detection, is ideal for everyday experiments. It can substitute the most common mid-level substrates without changes in the protocol (Figure 1).

WESTAR ANTARES has a highly extended signal duration, compared to most mid-level range ECL substrates, as shown in the HDAC-1 signal intensity variation over time below (Figure 2).

WESTAR ETA C Ultra 2.0 is a unique substrate that matches a high sensitivity to an extended signal duration, with no competitor showing similar performances. A strong signal with a very low background allows a high signal-to-noise ratio for mid to low femtogram detection level (Figure 3).

WESTAR ETA C Ultra 2.0 is the most sensitive ECL on the market with a long signal duration of up to 20 hours (Figure 4).
