NHS Biotin

Introduction

N-hydroxysuccinimidyl esters (NHS) of biotins are excellent reagents for biotinylating biomolecules such as proteins and amine-modified nucleic acids. NHS-Biotin is the simplest biotinylating reagent available.

Properties/Highlights

Used in the biotinylation of proteins and peptides. Forms stable amide bond with primary amines in the pH range 7-9.
